Baropodometric analysis
A baropodometric plate is used to gather information needed for designing insoles.
The analysis makes therapeutical information available for the prescribing physician or physiotherapist.
STATIC AND DYNAMIC ANALYSES are carried out with the baropodometric plate.
The baropodometric plate analyses a patient's weight distribution on both feet, symmetry of the legs and his or her gait cycle. The analysis can reveal interesting information how to define and deal with a problem.
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
After this kind of data-processing, the patient receives individual therapy which not only improves the patient's general situation concerning feet and body, but also any structural as well as functional problems.
PAIN RELIEF
Orthostatic problems cause pain in the feet or in other body parts, e.g. knee, hip or spine. Therapy including orthotic insoles adjusts and corrects weight distribution on both feet and brings pain relief to ankles, knees, hips and spine.
When fitting prostheses, a gait analysis is a good idea to improve static and dynamic settings of the artificial limb and to evaluate quantitive and qualitative advantages of various components.
STATIC
A static analysis provides information about how a patient distributes his or her weight on both feet when standing. This method also helps identify excessive pressure on parts of the foot, feet pathologies or define pressure difference between forefoot and heel.
DYNAMIC
A dynamic analysis depicts different scenarios during the gait cycle and helps identify foot positioning and timing problems while walking.
POSTURE ANALYSIS
… helps us maintain our posture
This analysis helps determine morphotype and posture deficit caused by muscle imbalance which can be attributed to an incorrect tonic postural system. The information gathered with the analysis is also used for designing the insoles.
